Tribute to Janice Morgan

Dearest Jan We will miss you in Highgate and in our lives. There is so much to remember which we shared- particularly you introducing me to going to the Eisteddfod which we did a few times, sharing holidays in Wales- such as staying in LLoyd George's house as well as trips to Covent Garden and of course talking about Highgate Society activities and issues. Stephen and I know how hard you worked for the Society over many years and we valued the myriad of contributions you made though getting up at dawn to make coffee for the me putting up the Highgate Festival stalls seemed to us generosity too far . But that was you - taking a very responsible approach to commitments. I always valued the family connection that our fathers grew up in the same welsh village and went to school together - some how it made us closer . All of which means you leave a big hole in our lives and we will never forget you. Ceridwen and Stephen
