Tribute to Janice Morgan
Dear Jan
What an amazing friend you have been always over the last 50 years. There have been so many memories (and so many postcards and cards from your many adventures). You were the only person who remembered our Wedding Anniversary every year not even we did one year. You asked us how we were going to celebrate it which jogged our memory.
Those wonderful Thanksgiving dinners in your flat in Highgate, Your 40th, 50th, 60th 70th birthday parties. Those wonderful Lighthouse holidays with the five of us Alison, Roger, Michael, you and I enjoyed together wherever in the country we could find a cottage for 5. You were the Queen of the cooked breakfasts.
Picnics at Kenwood with lots of friends wrapped in blankets listening to music or once watching the film Casablanca.
The Open Air theatre gatherings at Regents Park . We always had more food than any other table !!!
The laughter, the chat your joy of life, the support you gave me in my creative endeavours , attending all my Private Views sending me messages of support when you couldn’t.
More recently it was the evening meals at Restaurant 500, the breakfasts at 33 and our visits to the Garden Centre.
Dear Jan I am really proud to have known you and been your friend and think what a lucky person I am to have all these wonderful memories of you. You are totally irreplaceable.
Lizzie
